Vinyl (PVC) is the go-to for residential privacy fencing. A solid vinyl panel gives you a true visual barrier, never needs painting, and does not rot. We install it in white or wood-tone. It is a long-term material, and a quality installation can outlast your time in the house.

Heights offered: 4, 5, and 6 ft, at the same price range for every height. Prices include installation. Old fence removal is $3 to $8 per linear foot. Get a range for your own yard with the fence cost calculator.
Other options: aluminum fencing, mixed material fencing, chain link fencing. Looking by purpose? See privacy fence or pool fence.
Installed, white vinyl runs $50 to $60 per linear foot and wood-tone vinyl runs $55 to $65 per linear foot, at the same range for every height. A walk gate is $500 to $800 each.
We install white and wood-tone vinyl. White is the lower price range, and wood-tone costs a little more per foot.
Cold makes vinyl more brittle, so a hard impact in winter, such as a falling branch, can crack a panel in a way that would not damage aluminum. Day to day it handles freeze-thaw well, and it does not rot or need painting.
White vinyl can chalk or yellow over time with UV exposure. Manufacturers have improved this in recent years, and it is worth asking about UV stabilizers when you choose a product.
No. Vinyl is the same range per linear foot at 4, 5, and 6 feet: $50 to $60 for white and $55 to $65 for wood-tone.
